Will introduce my self. I am an IT technician. I work for this IT company (no names).

I hear so many complaints from customers about them and other companies, why do IT companies want to make money now and not care about building a loyalty base? I did have my own company but had to ditch it due to financial reasons. But my clients are still loyal to me (charged them too little as well ). But to me it was more as a closely knit family always got invited to anything they did, ring me weekends and evenings, gave them more than IT support but also emotional when they required it (You would not believe half the stories I have heard). Now working for a comapny that cannot even organise a piss up in a brewary and their primary goal is get the money and then hell with the client.

Will try to post a letter twice a week but a report at least once a week.

This week, met with a client and did some work. Her comment: you seem a nice guy what the hell are you doing working for that "company"?. They are only out to rip people off, what am I going to say? Diplomatically tried to steer the conversation but of course it kept rearing up. Oh well will keep at the job and do the best I can (thank god the clients I deal with are getting used to me and are pretty confident in my abilities), my moto : Deal with everyone as though they were your own clients. This will make your life in general easy.

No wonder people dislike IT companies out there, never realised how much before. I hope a few IT people take notice and read a few forth coming bloggs. I think that some IT personell seriously need a change of personility, it is with this that you will win over clients and KEEP THEM.

Boys and Girls have to go to sleep now but please do send me comments (Good and especially bad ) and stories you want to add feel free to do so. Once a week I will also pass on common problems and how to resolve them. Love all of you guys, Good night!!!
